Michael and Nicole Phelps are expecting baby #4!

The Phelps’ are getting ready for a new addition to the family.

Nicole Phelps announced her pregnancy with via Instagram with a photo showing off her beautiful bump at an NFL game. She and Michael are already parents to three boys: Boomer, 7, Beckett, 5, and Maverick, 3.

The post was in commemoration of their anniversary, they’ve been married since 2016, and it was an official pregnancy announcement.

The soon-to-be mother of four writes, “For those that are wondering… yes! we’re expecting our 4th Phelps in 2024”

Among the carousel of photos, Nicole Phelps included sweet family memories of the two of them and their cute kids.

Life with four little ones is bound to bring some changes. Michael Phelps and Nicole previously spoke to People about parenthood in 2021. She said, “We don’t hide from emotions. We teach them that daddy or mommy is having a moment and we need to either give them space or ask if they want a hug. And that’s taught them they have permission for their feelings to be heard too.”

Nicole Phelps recently shared her insights as a working mother, navigating mental health—through the Michael Phelps Foundation—and on raising resilient kids with Motherly. In 2022 they partnered with Nemours Children’s and created a video series that gives parents important skills regarding cultivating resilience in kids.

“Parenting is a life-long journey, but we don’t have to go it alone,” she previously said. “It really does take a village.”
