This newborn mom is all of us as she raps about being ‘nap trapped’

Emily Vondy/TikTok
Her rap is a bop.
Let’s get this TikTok mom a record deal already, am I right? In addition to all of her funny stories, anecdotes, and hilarious songs she creates on her channel, comedic TikTok mom Emily Vondrachek posted another video with her rapping about being “nap trapped” as she taps beats on her newborn infant as she sleeps. This is the second video with this theme according to Vondy, as she originally posted her “nap trap rap” while holding her other daughter.
“I can’t believe it’s been a whole year since I posted the original ‘nap trapped’ song that I wrote while being nap trapped,” Vondy shared in the caption. “I had to re-make [the video] with her baby sister cuz turns out I’m still trapped a year later! And I wouldn’t have it any other way,” she said.
We’ve all been there. You’ve finally gotten your kid to sleep, but now you’re afraid to move a muscle. As Vondy shares in her rap, she says, “everytime I put her down she cries … and every time I stand she opens her eyes.
You may not want to watch this video if you’re nap trapped, because your laughing may wake up your baby.
Her entire rap is truly a bop:
Bring the beat back
Bladder full of coffee
Really have to pee
Got a million things to do and places to be
But I’m nap trapped
Been at this for an hour
Nap trapped
And I really gotta shower
But every time I put her down she cries
And when I stand she opens her eyes
So I’m not gonna fight it
No need to struggle
For now I’ll just enjoy this snuggle
Though shared in a hilarious way, Vondy does have a point. Those baby snuggles certainly go by quickly, and it’s OK if you have a million things on your to-do list. Enjoy that baby head smell and those snuggles while you can.
Whether she’s posting about awesome new postpartum products she’s been sent to review, or posting videos of her “shaking it to bangers of her youth” when she’s 40 weeks pregnant to try to induce labor, Vondrachek is definitely a MomTok account you should follow for realistic depictions of motherhood and tons of laughs.
