Baby Sussex, the not-yet-born child of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is the most famous—and mysterious—baby in the world right now. We don’t know what Baby Sussex will be named, we don’t know if they will have red hair like Harry, and we don’t know if the Duchess is having a girl or a boy—or do we?

In a recent interview with E! News the Duchess’ close friend Serena Williams made a comment that has royal watchers stocking up on pink balloons. “My friend is pregnant, and she was like, ‘My kid’s gonna do this,’ [and] I just looked at her like, ‘No, she’s not,'” Serena said.

Now, Serena Williams may very well have several pregnant friends, so this is not a sure thing. Back in January, the Duchess stated that she and Harry are keeping the sex of the baby a surprise (a decision that can be a lot of fun even for us non-royals).

That statement came a few months after Prince Harry, during the royal tour of Australia, responded to a fan who shouted that she hopes it’s a girl” with “so do I!”

No matter Baby Sussex’ sex, the Duchess has made it clear that she and Prince Harry will be raising a little feminist.

During an International Women’s Day event for the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust, she said, “It’s funny, I’ve actually been joking in the past few weeks…I had seen this documentary on Netflix about feminism and one of the things they said during pregnancy is, ‘I feel the embryonic kicking of feminism.'”

She continued: “I loved that, so boy or girl, or whatever it is, we hope that’s the case.”

Girl or boy, Baby Sussex is going to have a lot of strong, powerful women in their life. And Serena Williams is right, they probably won’t do everything their mama thinks they will.
