Lounge sets that slay from home to holiday travel

As longtime fans of Summersalt’s uber-flattering swimsuits, we’re not surprised that we love their lounge sets. We are surprised we love them this much. The velour fabric is dreamier than pieces we’ve paid three times as much for and it’s both cozy and breathable. There are a few different style tops to choose from but we’re partial to the snug factor of the hoodie.

It’s made from a cotton knit that’s impressively soft and high quality with sweet details like rolled hems and an adjustable drawstring waist. Not feeling so smiley? (We get it.) If quiet luxury was a loungewear set, it would be this duo. (There’s a reason you’ll see at least three stylish travelers wearing it the next time you’re at an airport.) Spanx best-selling AirEssentials line is a popular go-to for both globetrotting adventures and at-home errands because well, obviously. The fabric is clearly made with the breath of an angel given its airy feel and wrinkle-free drape. The fit is relaxed but not sloppy and even though it’s technically a sweatsuit, it looks put together AF. Oh, and the half-zip top can even be personalized!

Wrapping myself in head-to-toe cashmere is exactly the kind of indulgent I subscribe to. That said, I am not Beyonce, so this has to be achieved on a reasonable budget. Enter: Quince. Just like the crazy soft $50 cashmere sweater I adore, these pants and matching zip-up hoodie are cloud soft, sustainably made, and not prohibitively expensive. And don’t worry about dry cleaning–they can actually be washed at home!

Similar to the Spanx AirEssentials above, Athleta’s Seasoft fabric is bouncy and lightweight but also perfect for travel. The wrinkles fall right out and when it’s on, it’s smooth and flattering. There’s a variety of styles in the collection, but the pairing we’re head over heels for is the Mid Rise Straight Pant and the Seasoft Bubble Hem Hoodie. The pants are loose but not oversize, with thoughtful details like a wide waistband that doesn’t roll or dig and zip pockets to keep valuables safe. The hoodie pairs perfectly with its gathered hem that hits right at the waist and looks fabulous with leggings, too!

Target’s Joylab label never seems to disappoint–and this French Terry set is no exception. Pair the straight leg pant with the 1/2 zip hoodie for a chill-ready look that won’t dent your wallet. The quality of the fabric is impressive for the price and with details like thumb holes and curved hems along the backside, it looks far more expensive than it is!

Cashmere soft at a fraction of the price? Yes please. This holiday-ready set from Gap’s CashSoft collection is perfect for everything from baking cookies to holiday shopping. Not into red? Oh, it also comes in neutrals like black and tan as well as hot pink for the daring.

I seriously can’t get enough of the badass sets from Dressed in Lala. From the cozy knit to the just-loud-enough patterns, they make getting dressed really fun. (They also never fail to get compliments because who doesn’t want to be friends with the woman covered in tigers?)
