How would you describe your pregnancy style?

Creative casual. I work in the art world, where black is the go-to color, but since I’m due in September (and summer in NYC is hot enough already!) I’m incorporating a lot of light colors and comfortable pieces. Besides a few adorable pieces from Hatch and basics from Gap Maternity, I’ve been wearing mostly non-maternity pieces. I’ve also started wearing a few of my husband’s work shirts (he’s 6’5″ so they fit like dresses) with a belt over my bump and pairing it with leggings.

Have you had any challenges learning to dress your body during this pregnancy?

Finding work appropriate shoes that are comfortable for my swollen feet.

So far, what has surprised you most during your pregnancy?

How quickly change happens. Sometimes I’ll wake up and it’s a whole new set of changes and challenges!

The Winx Linen Jacket from AYR, which is one of my favorite brands. Many of their pieces are perfect for pregnancy, like their relaxed fit tops and jackets that can be worn open.

The silk camisole is from J.Crew.

Skirt from American Apparel (in a few colors) during their closing sale.

Shoes are from Loeffler Randall.
