Nothing says “quintessential road trip activity” quite like belting out songs in the car, right? Or, in Dax Shepard‘s case, the family RV. The actor shared a video of him helming the wheel alongside his daughter, who was riding shotgun and playing the role of his duet partner. The video is, in a word, adorable.
Shepard and his wife, Kristen Bell, are super selective about what they share regarding their daughters—they also keep their faces out of the public eye—so it’s extra special for him to share this sweet video.
Even more special is his caption to the video of him and his little girl belting out some classic Adele at the top of their lungs.
“Heaven is a place on a twisty two lane mountain pass where screaming @adele with your daughter is required.”

It’s honestly such a pure, sweet moment between dad and daughter—and no doubt a memory neither of them will forget. It’s those “small” moments that imprint on our hearts and minds forever, after all.
The Armchair Expert podcast host and Bell are parents to 8-year-old daughter Lincoln and 6-year-old daughter Delta.
Lots of people in the comments (fellow celebs and parents alike) couldn’t help but comment on the adorable video, which triggered some major nostalgia for a lot of them:
ummm…this is obviously one of the top three reasons to have a child. Its pretty hard to top car concerts with your biggest fan club.
Road trips with my dad are some of my best memories. We sang Madonna though.
she’s taking after her mother’s amazing singing voice
Ok this might be my favorite post of yours yet! love it!! So special and fun!
My heart just exploded…memories you’ll never forget!
We love everything about this moment between Dax and his little girl, and we hope their road trip is chock full of memories and moments just like this. Family vacations in the summer can be hectic and stressful, but they can also be THE BEST.
