Evenflo is recalling 36,694 Titan 65 car seats after discovering a safety issue involving the instruction manual, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
The recall affects Evenflo Titan 65 car seats, model number 3712198, manufactured between March 17 and May 1, 2025. The recalled units do not meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 213, which governs child restraint systems. Some of these seats were shipped with the wrong instruction manual, which means parents may have unknowingly installed them incorrectly. That could lead to a child being improperly restrained, increasing the risk of injury in a crash.
Parents depend on clear instructions to use safety gear the way it was designed. When that information is missing or misleading, it puts families at risk.
