It’s not where you would expect to find an actress-turned-mogul, but the dressing room at Target was the perfect fit for a quick breastfeeding break for Jessica Alba.

The mom of three and her husband Cash Warren welcomed their new little boy, Hayes, to the family on December 31. And like many infants would, Hayes needed to refuel during his mom’s big outing to Target.

“Breastfeeding in a Target dressing room,” Alba documented in her Instagram story—along with an arrow pointing to her “tired eyes.”

We’ve all been there, literally. Target is known for its mom-friendly policies and fitting rooms, and the chain has even been rolling out dedicated nursing rooms during store remodels.

That kind of welcoming atmosphere is attractive to new moms and helps normalize breastfeeding, as do public conversations about nursing—like the ones Alba is starting in her social media feeds.

Her Target story is just the latest breastfeeding moment Alba has shared since introducing Hayes to his big sisters, 6-year-old Haven and 9-year-old Honor, on New Year’s Eve. Over the last couple months the 36-year-old mom has shared pictures of nursing moments at home and at work (Honest Company board meeting, not movie set).

Honestly, we’re all for it. ?

The more we talk about the realities of breastfeeding, the more normalized it becomes. This leads to more and more public places adopting the kind of breastfeeding-friendly policies that make Target a favorite destination for many moms.

Alba may have only been snapping a selfie of her “tired eyes,” but as a celebrity, there are many eyes are on her social media feeds. We’re happy she’s keeping it real for the sake of all the other mamas with babies to feed and errands to run.
