Can you believe Rumer Willis has been a mom for nine months already? Time really does fly, because somehow, the actress (and daughter of A-lister Bruce Willis) welcomed her daughter, Louetta Isley (Lou for short) nine months ago.
To mark the occasion, Willis took to Instagram to share some of the game-changing baby products that have helped her get through the first three-quarters of a year of motherhood.
“Lou is 9 months now which is mind blowing,” she wrote. ” I have had a few friends reach out to me recently who are about to have their first babies and asked me to share a few ideas for must-have registry items to add to their lists.”
Y’all, this is a good list. If you’re looking for some new-baby recommendations—whether they’re for your own new arrival, to give as gifts to an expecting parent in your life, or for any other reason—you truly cannot go wrong with anything on this list. So, without further ado, here are the must-have baby products Willis recommends.
Rumer Willis' favorite baby registry items
Bumpsuit
• $275
First up? BUMPSUIT’s Armadillo baby carrier.
“A great carrier for baby wearing has been essential for me, especially in the early days,” Willis wrote. “I was always walking around the house… anytime we went out at the farmers market. I know that it made me and Lou feel cozy and safe having her close to my body. I did a collab with @bumpsuit on this Armadillo carrier after I reached out to [BUMPSUIT founder and CEO Nicole Trunfio] because I loved it so much.”
As an added bonus?
“It has an amazing little built in sun cover.”
Lalo
• $235
No. 2 on Willis’ list is a high chair from Lalo.
“We have been doing baby led weaning with Lou since she was 6 months old and it has been such a delight to watch her try and experience new foods,” she wrote. “I wanted to find a high chair that was sturdy and easy to clean and one that also fit in our space in a chic way and this one from @lalo was my favorite I found.”
Lalo
• $75
That’s not the only Lalo product Willis loves. She also notes, for recommendation No. 3, “The first bites kit from @lalo has also been a lifesaver. Everything is super easy to clean and travel with and Lou loves the little tiny spoons that she has been using as teething toys too.”
Soft 'n Fat
• $34 for 2 oz
On to No. 4: Soft n’ Fat small batch tallow skin care products.
“I have been shouting from the rooftops how much I love @softnfat,” Willis wrote. “This stuff is magical. Everyone in our house uses it for literally everything. It is the most gorgeous beef tallow I have ever used.”
She continued, “I use it as diaper cream, all over body lotion for Lou and myself, for any minor cuts and scrapes and rashes that pop up. It’s truly divine.”
Willis’ pick is sold out, but we found this similar in-stock pick at Amazon if you’d like to try it for yourself.
Oso and Me
• $32
For her fifth recommendation, Willis shared a video of some absolutely adorable baby clothes embroidered with Lou’s name and revealed that they’re from Oso & Me.
“I am in love with anything monogrammed,” she wrote, which is very relatable.
She added, “I loved the kimono design of the onesies because getting her in and out is quite easy, especially for little ones who don’t like things over the head,” which is also very relatable.
Oso and Me
• $140
But this is the part that really got us: “I have a gorgeous blanket and matching outfit that is monogrammed that I can have as a keepsake forever. Also her pants have fit her all the way from 3m to still at 9m which is so nice to have quality things that can last not only for Lou but for the next kid.”
We all know how expensive baby clothes can be — especially with how quickly they outgrow them! Quality pieces that last like that? Worth their weight in gold.
Natursutten
• $11.99
Willis’ final recommendation was short, sweet, and to the point: Natursutten, “an amazing, all natural rubber pacifier that I love,” she wrote.
So there you have it — a list of some truly great baby recommendations. Consider your future baby showers shopped for.
