In royal baby news, Princess Eugenie of York and her husband Jack Brooksbank welcomed a baby boy on February 9th, and on Valentine’s Day, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced they were expecting their second child! The royals tend to keep things hush-hush when it comes to disclosing baby names, which has us pondering: will the Duke and Duchess of Sussex opt for a name rising in popularity this year or a more idiosyncratic name?

Given the current monarchy’s unique range of names like Zara, Eugenie, Beatrice, and Archie, we can only hope the next generation of royals continue on the tradition of granting their little majesties with one-of-a-kind names.

Now, we know shows like Bridgerton aren’t based-off real people per se, but that doesn’t mean we can’t lean on them for inspiration as well. Check out our Bridgerton-themed baby names here.

Shows like Bridgerton and The Crown only fuel our TV royal obsession and ongoing list of baby names. If you too, are on the hunt for a brilliant name, consider giving your little royal highness one of these royally-inspired names.
