Grab every pink thing you own and get ready to dive into the new “Barbie” movie trailer starring Margot Robbie as Barbie and Ryan Gosling as Ken.

On Friday, the first official teaser trailer for the film dropped, and it shows the Barbie movie is narrated by none other than Helen Mirren too! She begins the trailer by describing how Barbie dolls basically changed the way young girls played with dolls forever.

The cast also includes Issa Rae, Will Ferrell, Kate McKinnon, Simu Liu, Michael Cera, America Ferrera and more. Greta Gerwig, who also directs the film, wrote the screenplay along with her partner, fellow director Noah Baumbach.

Robbie has touched on some misconceptions about the film before, previously opening up to British Vogue after it was announced that production had started on the film.

“People generally hear Barbie and think, ‘I know what that movie is going to be,’ ” she said. “Then they hear that Greta Gerwig is writing and directing it, and they’re like, ‘Oh, well, maybe I don’t….’ “

She acknowledged that Barbie has been a controversial figure in popular culture for, well, always. (Think: toxic beauty standards and the impact the doll has on girls’ body image.)

“Right, it comes with a lot of baggage!” she says, smiling. “And a lot of nostalgic connections. But with that come a lot of exciting ways to attack it.”

Back in July, PEOPLE asked Gosling what it was like to “break the internet” after the first photo of him in character as Ken popped up everywhere.

“Well, the internet has been trying to break me for years,” he joked. “It gave me no other choice. We’ve been having so much fun making this movie and it felt nice to see everyone else start having as much fun as we are. I can’t wait for the film to come out and for that to continue.”

Barbie will premiere in theaters on July 21, 2023.
