Between the current political news cycle, the economy and influx of super scary Halloween movies, we’re craving shows that give us a gut-wrenching belly laugh, or at the very least, a quick break from reality like never before.

If you’ve been feeling a bit on edge, you’ll be pleased to know that Animaniacs, the slapstick comedy—albeit smart and educational—that we all grew up on is coming back.

The revival of Animaniacs will debut on Hulu November 20! We are thrilled to share that Yakko, Wakko, Dot and cult-favorite characters Pinky and the Brain (remember when they were on the show before the spinoff?) are continuing their mission for world domination.

The show aired from 1993 to 1998 on Fox Kids and The WB Network, meaning it has been off the air for over 20 years.

If you are worried that won’t feel like the 90’s show you adored, think again. The original voice actors will be back for the reboot, including the original executive producer Steven Spielberg.

And if that’s not enough, the cartoon will return to Hulu for a second season in 2021.

Yes, this is “totally insaney” mamas, but it’s the exact nostalgia we need.
