How would you describe your pregnant style?

I typically only buy classic pieces in practical colors, but I take more risks with my style when I’m pregnant and experiment with colors, patterns and shapes. It’s fun to play around with my wardrobe because I know it’s temporary. With that said, I lived in my staple maternity black Theory maternity pants and Vince sweaters this pregnancy which are things I own normally–so I didn’t stray from my usual style all that much!

Have you had any challenges learning to dress your body during pregnancy?

It’s not necessarily a challenge, but since this is my second pregnancy, I’ve found I need to be more comfortable when I’m home with my toddler son, especially over the weekend. I tend to throw on a pair of leggings and a tunic which can get a bit repetitive, but at least I’m able to hang out in his room and play with Thomas trains and dinosaurs on the rug!

So far, what has surprised you most during your pregnancy?

With my first child, I was tired for a few months, but it passed once I hit the second trimester. This time around, I’ve been exhausted the entire time. I have to force myself to take naps on the weekend.

What are you most looking forward to sharing with your baby?

There’s nothing sweeter than having your baby fall asleep on your chest, so I can’t wait for those moments. And I’m excited to see him bond with his older brother.

What’s your 5 registry essentials?

1. Aden and Anais crib sheets because they are unbelievably soft and easy to change.

2. I tell every new mom to get the Zoli Nail Trimmer.

3. I love how the water drains out of the 4Moms Infant Tub as you wash so the baby is never sitting in dirty water.

4. I stash these HoMedics portable noise machines everywhere–in the car, the stroller, my diaper bag.

5. My son lived in his 4Moms mamaRoo, so I’m hoping this baby will like it, too!
