Home / Life / Beauty & Style Jessica Quarello’s Pregnancy Style Bump envy! By Charlene Petitjean-Barkulis June 26, 2017 Rectangle Name: Jessica Quarello Neighborhood: Flatiron Occupation: Marketing Manager & Blogger Baby’s Sex: Baby girl! How would you describe your pregnant style? My style has sort of evolved throughout this pregnancy. I have always loved to embrace trends and have a fashionable approach to dressing, which was a bit of a challenge with a large round belly. (bye bye high waisted jeans and crop tops!) I found myself gravitating toward less trendy items and stocking my closet with classic pieces I could mix and match. Have you had any challenges learning to dress your body during this pregnancy? Yes! My body has changed so much throughout my pregnancy. I would be able to wear something one day and not even able to zip it a month later. Options with a bit of stretch in the material proved to be the most foolproof, and I found myself embracing the bump in a lot of body conscious options. So far, what has surprised you most during your pregnancy? The physical transformation and challenges your body goes through. I obviously knew my body was going to change once I got pregnant, but I had no idea to what extent. I have had a lot of physical challenges like back and rib pain, and now swollen feet! All the challenges will of course be worth it, but I have to admit I wasn’t expecting them! What are you most looking forward to sharing with your baby? Oh gosh everything! I just can’t wait to have her in my arms and share everything I know with her. I guess if I had to pick one thing, it would be music. Before I started my career in fashion and marketing, I was a singer/actor in NYC. I am currently working on a lullaby demo for baby girl, and I can’t wait to sing to her and hopefully instill a love of music within her too. What’s your top 5 registry essentials?
