Nikki Brie Bella baby

It's 2020. The world is changing. It's hard to believe but the old decade is over, the new one is here and it is bringing a lot of new life with it. The babies born this year are members of Generation Alpha and the world is waiting for them.

We're only a few months into the new year and there are already some new celebrity arrivals making headlines while making their new parents proud.

If your little one arrived (or is due to arrive) in 2020, they've got plenty of high profile company.

Here are all the celebrity babies born in 2020 (so far):

Kristen Wiig welcomed twins via surrogate 🎉

Kristen Wiig and fiancé Avi Rothman are parents to twins, E! News reported this week. Us Weekly was first to report the news and People also states the couple welcomed twins via surrogate earlier this year, but Wiig has not yet commented on the birth of her children publicly.

Wiig's appearance on Saturday Night Live around Mother's Day had people wondering if something had changed in her life.

In a sketch about Mother's Day she said: "I don't know if I truly appreciated my mom the first 45 years of my life. But this year I'm feeling especially grateful for her advice, her love. I'm so thankful for all the things she's taught me, like preparing me to be a mom myself. Things like breast-feeding," Wiig said, before leaning into a joke about chicken breasts. "Babies love that chicken, she would always say that."

She continued: "I do want to thank my mom, and all the moms out there, who have been helping us get through this and who have been there, and who are watching over us. We thank you so much. Happy Mother's Day. Thank you, moms."

Congratulation to Kristin and Avi 🎉

"I have a son," Azalea wrote on her Instagram Story on June 10. "I kept waiting for the right time to say something but it feels like the more time passes the more I realize I'm always going to feel anxious to share news that giant with the world."

Hayes joins big sister Gracie, now 2, and his mama's fans joined for a portion of his birth, which Otis planned to live stream. But eventually, Otis needed to focus on her doula, midwife, Hayes and her own body. The livestream was of the home birth was understandably cut short.

"I'm sorry I wasn't able to go 'live' longer - I was in so much pain during contractions and this labor happened so fast!" she said in her Instagram announcement. "I wanted to really focus on my breathing and being one with my son. Within 6 hours he was OUT!"

Rupert Grint and Georgia Groome just welcomed a baby girl!

Former Harry Potter star Rupert Grint (who can currently be binge-watched on Apple TV's series Servant) is now a dad, E! News reports.

Grint and his partner, actor Georgia Groome previously confirmed they were expecting. In a statement to E! weeks ago Grint's rep stated the couple "are excited to announce they are expecting a baby and would please ask for privacy at this time."

The plea for privacy comes after paparazzi pictures of the couple out in London were shared online.

Now that their baby girl is here the couple are again asking for some family time.

"Rupert Grint and Georgia Groome are delighted to confirm the birth of their baby girl," a representative for the couple told E! News. "We would please ask that you respect their privacy at this very special time."

Hope Solo on having twins during a pandemic: 'It has been incredibly stressful times for us'

Soccer superstar Hope Solo is now a mama of two after giving birth to twins on March 4, 2020.

Solo just announced her twins' birth via Instagram and also announced the names she and her husband, former NFL player Jerramy Stevens, chose for their son and daughter.

"Please meet Vittorio and Lozen Stevens, both born in the middle of a pandemic on March 4," Solo says in a video posted by athletic brand Uninterupted, in which she discusses how hard it is to be a first-time parent right now. "It has been incredibly stressful times for us. We've been out in public more than we wanted to be, but we would like to thank all the incredible nurses and the doctors who helped take care of our babies during our time in NICU."

This was a rainbow pregnancy for Solo, who miscarried twins in 2018. She announced she was expecting back in December during the beIN Sports show Weekend Winners, which she co-hosts.

"Yes, my husband and I get to practice equality from the very beginning with one boy and one girl," Solo explained during the segment, which was posted to Twitter.

We are so happy for Solo + Stevens.

Their daughter's birth comes after Tuner-Smith's birth plan was complicated by the coronavirus pandemic.

"We're just figuring out how to deal with interacting with doctors and hospitals right now," Jackson said on a recent episode of Live with Kelly and Ryan.

We're glad that they got all the logistics figured out and can now focus on their baby girl.

Congrats to Josh and Jodie!

Carson + Siri Daly welcome daughter during COVID-19 pandemic

Today host Carson Daly and his wife Siri Daly just welcomed their fourth child this week as hospitals in New York City made changes to maternity ward visitor policies. Daly has not revealed exactly which hospital his new daughter was born in, but he did say that he was able to be there for his daughter's birth, but couldn't be in the hospital before or after.

"I dropped [Siri] off at the hospital because the hospitals in and around New York—as you can imagine—have quite new guidelines, and she went alone on Wednesday night. I could only join her for the birth, then I had to leave again as they are quickly trying to flip these rooms around. Her heroism, she's a superstar, she's a superhero. I wake up enamored by her and also the medical staff we dealt with last night. The work that they are doing on the front lines, you don't believe it until you are actually there and can see it," Daly told his colleagues at NBC's Today.

He also opened up about his daughter's special name: "Goldie is awesome. Her middle name is Patricia, named after my mother, who you all knew well. It would have been my mom's birthday tomorrow so that worked out to be quite nice," he said, adding that Goldie's first name is inspired by this DNA.

"I just got the results of my ancestry DNA kit that my sister got me for Christmas back not long ago and it confirmed my 98% Irishness. So I was looking at Irish names on St. Patrick's day morning and I stumbled on Goldie...I thought this is our fourth kid, she seems like the pot of gold at the end of our family rainbow and I told Siri...and that was it. One of these things we knew."

Goldie joins siblings Jackson James, 11, Etta Jones, 7, and London Rose, 5.

Congratulations to the family of 6!

Eva Amurri + Kyle Martino just welcomed their 3rd child

The rest of the world is settling in for social distancing and so is newly postpartum mama Eva Amurri, who just welcomed her third child with sportscaster Kyle Martino, her (almost) ex-husband.

The two separated in November but are committed to coparenting their children, daughter Marlowe, 5, son Major, 3, and newborn Mateo who was born on March 13.

"Our sweet little boy came earth-side yesterday, peacefully at home," Amurri captioned a photo of her family posted to Instagram.

Congratulations Eva!

Jenna Dewan + Steve Kazee picked a great name for their baby boy!

Jenna Dewan is a mama of two now, after giving birth to her second child on March 6. And we love the name they picked. Dewan and fiancé Steve Kazee share baby Callum Michael Rebel, who joins big sis Everly (who Dewan co-parents with her ex, Channing Tatum).

The name Callum has become more popular in America in recent years, reaching a historic level of popularity in 2018, according to the Social Security Administration.

Congrats to Callum's parents (who may be making this name even more popular)!

Laura Prepon is a mama x 2!

Actors Laura Prepon and Ben Foster share 2-year-old daughter Ella and now share another "bundle of love".

Prepon announced her pregnancy back in October on Instagram:. "We are so excited to announce that our family is growing. Life is beautiful!" and has now announced her birth as well.

"Overwhelmed with gratitude." she captioned an Instagram photo of her baby.

Ashley Graham is a mama! 🎉

A new chapter is unfolding for model and podcaster Ashley Graham, who just announced she and her husband Justin Ervin have met their baby.

The baby arrived Saturday, according to a post made on Graham's Instagram Stories.

Congratulations to Ashley and Justin!

Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden just welcomed a baby girl! 🎉

Surprise! Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden are ringing in the New Year as first-time parents!

"Happy New Year from the Maddens!" reads a birth announcement posted to both Diaz and Madden's Instagram accounts. "We are so happy, blessed and grateful to begin this new decade by announcing the birth of our daughter, Raddix Madden. She has instantly captured our hearts and completed our family."

Raddix Madden is the first child for Diaz, 47, and Madden, 40.

The couple say they won't be posting any pictures of their daughter on social media as they "feel a strong instinct to protect our little one's privacy."

Congratulations to the Maddens! 🎉

Dylan Dreyer of 'Today' is a mom of 2!

Today meteorologist Dylan Dreyer and her husband Brian Fichera, welcomed their second child, Oliver George Fichera, the first week of January 2020. Oliver joins his big brother Calvin to make the family a foursome.

Dreyer is still recovering from birth but her voice was on TV this week when she called into her show with an update on her new family. "I feel good," Dylan told her colleagues. "I just feel so happy and so blessed."

Caterina Scorsone of 'Grey's Anatomy' now has 3 girls!

Caterina Scorsone of Grey's Anatomy has so much to be thankful for in 2020: She's now a mom of three! The actress announced the birth of her daughter via Instagram, noting that her baby's name is Arwen.

Arwen joins big sisters Eliza, 7, and 3-year-old Paloma, who has Down syndrome. Speaking on The Motherly Podcast last year, Scorsone explained how Paloma's diagnosis made her "whole concept of what motherhood was had to shift."

It is likely shifting again, as any mama who has gone from two kids to three knows.

Why do all of my good parenting or baby-focused inventions come after they've already been invented by someone else? Sigh.

Like the Puj hug hooded baby towel, aka the handiest, softest cotton towel ever created.

Safely removing a wet, slippery baby from the bath can be totally nerve-wracking, and trying to hold onto a towel at the same time without soaking it in the process seems to require an extra arm altogether. It's no wonder so much water ends up on the floor, the countertops, or you(!) after bathing your little one. Their splashing and kicking in the water is beyond adorable, of course, but the clean up after? Not as much.

It sounds simple: Wash your child, sing them a song or two, let them play with some toys, then take them out, place a towel around them, and dry them off. Should be easy, peasy, lemon squeezy, right?

But it hasn't been. It's been more—as one of my favorite memes says—difficult, difficult, lemon difficult. Because until this towel hit the bathtime scene, there was no easy-peasy way to pick up your squirming wet baby without drenching yourself and/or everything around you.

Plus, there is nothing cuter than a baby in a plush hooded towel, right? Well, except when it's paired with a dry, mess-free floor, maybe.

Check out our favorites to make bathtime so much easier:

One of our main goals as mothers is to encourage our children to learn, grow and play. They start out as our tiny, adorable babies who need us for everything, and somehow, before you know it, they grow into toddlers with ideas and opinions and desires of their own.

You may be hearing a lot more of "I do it!" or maybe they're pushing your hand away as a signal to let you know, I don't need your help, Mama. That's okay. They're just telling you they're ready for more independence. They want to be in charge of their bodies, and any little bit of control their lives and abilities allow.

So, instead of challenging your toddler's desire for autonomy, we found five of our favorite products to help encourage independence—and eliminate frustration in the process.
