Chrissy Teigen willingly shares many aspects of her life on social media. From opening up about her pregnancy struggles to responding to mom-shamers, she’s the first to admit she’s an open book.

But it seems she’s keeping one big secret right now: She and husband John Legend know the sex of their second child, but aren’t ready to make it public yet.

“I know I share everything, [so] I want to say it so badly,” Teigen told Entertainment Tonight this week. “John’s like, ‘No, let’s have something for us.'”

Teigen and Legend, who are already parents to Luna, 1, announced they are expanding their family in November—one month after Teigen shared they were going to use a frozen embryo from her first round of fertility treatments.

During her pregnancy with Luna, Teigen revealed her struggle with fertility and eventual use of IVF. She explained they had three viable embryos to chose from and the couple decided to implant the embryo for a girl baby—who turned out to be sweet Luna!

“Not only am I having a girl, but I picked the girl from her little embryo. I picked her and was like, ‘Let’s put in the girl,’” the model told People in 2016. “I think I was most excited and allured by the fact that John would be the best father to a little girl. That excited me.”

At the time, she added she hopes a “boy will come along, too.” So now the rest of us will just have to wait and see.

I can definitely relate to Teigen. While the question is usually whether parents will find out the sex of their child or not, this is the third option: Finding out, but keeping it private.

That’s what my husband and I (miraculously) managed to do for the birth of our second child—and it sure made for a fun announcement when *she* made her arrival.
