For breastfed babies seeing mama’s shirt move means something good is on the way and a new trend on TikTok hilariously proves it. Moms are flashing their babies to get a reaction and these reactions are completely adorable.

Let the joy these babies show remind everyone that all 50 states (and the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands) have laws that protect a mom’s right to breastfeed in public, according to the National Conference of State Legislators.

Nearly 7 in 10 Americans would be comfortable with a mom breastfeeding near them, and that’s good because the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the World Health Organization all encourage mothers to breastfeed.

In fact, the WHO recommends that babies be exclusively breastfeed for their first six months, and then receive a combination of breast milk and other nutrition until they are 2 years old because a large body of research proves breastfeeding offers optimal nutritional and immune system benefits. Being breastfed lowers a baby’s risks for asthma, obesity, type 2 diabetes, ear and respiratory infections and sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), according to the Centers for Disease Control. Breastfeeding has also been linked to better heart health for mothers.

That said, whether you are feeding your baby with a bottle, formula or a breast, you deserve to be supported. Breastfeeding should not be stigmatized and neither should formula feeding. No matter how you do it, the act of feeding your child is a beautiful thing and this viral trend shows how much babies appreciate it.
