A widely sold children’s learning tower has been recalled after reports of the platform collapsing while in use. The Grow ‘N Stow Folding Learning Tower by Little Partners has been pulled due to a fall hazard, according to a notice posted by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

How to check if your tower is included

Look for:

  • Model number LP01711
  • Date codes from 202409 through 202501 (formatted as YYYYMM)
  • Labels can be found on the underside of the platform

If your tower matches these details, it is part of the recall.

What parents should do next

Parents are asked to:

  • Stop using the tower immediately
  • Keep it away from children until repaired
  • Contact Little Partners for a free repair kit that includes a new crossbar with pin tabs and installation instructions

Once repaired, the new crossbar will feature a sticker indicating it is no longer part of the recall. The old crossbar should be removed and disposed of so it cannot be reused accidentally.

Why learning tower recalls matter

Learning towers are especially popular among families who encourage toddlers to help in the kitchen, wash dishes, or cook alongside adults. These platforms are designed for safe elevation, which means even a supervised child can be vulnerable if the structure fails. A collapse can happen during normal use, so identifying the affected model is important before putting the tower back into rotation.

Keeping kids safe in the kitchen (even after repair)

A repaired tower should be safe to use again, but experts still recommend a few preschool-friendly kitchen rules:

Smart safety tips:

  • Place the tower on a flat, stable surface
  • Keep it away from stovetops, ovens, and sharp tools
  • Watch for cords from mixers or air fryers
  • Supervise closely, even during calm tasks like washing fruit

Learning towers can be a wonderful way to build independence, connection, and confidence. A quick repair ensures they can stay a safe part of home life.
