18 maternity outfits you'll actually want to wear during the holidays

Being pregnant during the holidays can be hard. Mostly because when it comes to getting dressed and out of the house, being home in sweatpants sounds way more enticing than trying to fit into fancy clothes (at least for me personally). But that changes today, mama, because after tons of research and actually testing these clothes on myself with a pregnant belly with twins, I'm here to tell you there really are cute and comfortable maternity clothes.

So get your credit card ready mama, and let's go shopping! Here are our favorite maternity outfits to throw on for the holidays:

Aside from hygienic reasons, there's something about a bath that's soothing, inviting and relaxing. Even little ones can enjoy the benefits of self-care but they often need a little bit of entertainment while they're getting cleaned. Because they are so small and constantly putting anything in their mouths, it's important to use toys that are just as safe as they are entertaining.

We gathered a few best practices from the American Academy of Pediatrics for safe bath time with infants and kids and our favorite products to keep our littles having fun in the water:

  • Use a safe, sturdy tub. Baby bathtubs can be "bucket style" for sitting upright, slanted for support, inflatable, folding and spa-style.
  • Be aware of bumps, edges and slings. Consider avoiding tubs with slings and pay close attention to any bumps or edges that pose a risk.
  • Never leave a child alone in a bathtub. Children can drown in 1 or 2 inches of water so make sure you're not stepping away from the bathroom or leaving babies in the care of another child.
  • Check water temperature. Lower the temperature of your water heater to no more than 120 degrees Fahrenheit to avoid burns.

Here are our favorite safe bath toys for infants and toddlers. And of course, always check (and double check) toy labels for age guidelines and hazard warnings:

Music's biggest night was filled with show-stopping braids, sculpted baby hairs and to die for curls, but there was one music icon and mom-of-three whose hair stole the night—and it was created using drugstore favorites.

Gwen Stefani hit the red carpet with super sleek strands which isn't anything amazing, but when we heard it was created with products all under $10, we had to reach out to this mama's stylist and get the scoop. "Gilded tresses and sleek chic are the vibes I had in mind for this look," says celebrity stylist Danilo. "Effortless glam that is polished and perfected."

The look is extremely budget-friendly and can be achieved at home, continued Danilo. "I like drugstore products because they're reliable; you can find them at major retailers when you need them in a pinch, and a lot of them really work as well as salon-quality products.

Danilo paired Stefani's middle-parted straight hair with glowing skin and a glossy light pink lip. One thing is for sure, this mama secured her place in pop culture history while epitomizing cool-girl chic.

Here are the drugstore products Gwen Stefani used on her hair at the 2020 Grammys:
