Home / Life / Beauty & Style / Beauty & Style Shopping Guides Allbirds just launched a new underwear line and it’s a dream come true Plus, boxer briefs for guys, too. By Deena Campbell June 22, 2020 Allbirds When shopping for shoes, there’s no question that I want comfort. I’m constantly in and out of grocery stores, chasing my kids around my backyard or just lounging on my patio. The bottom line: I must be able to move around with ease. That’s why shoe brand Allbirds has been a go-to for mamas looking for comfort without forgoing a cool-girl style. In my mind, the tree runner can do no wrong. The fabric is made of Trino, a proprietary fabric made up of breathable eucalyptus tree fibers with merino wool that’s really soft and durable. Now, four years after launching, the footwear company is diving into the intimate space with the launch of breathable, moisture-wicking underwear and bralettes made of the same fabric we love. I’m no underwear expert, but I’m almost certain it’s perfect for mamas on COVID-19 lockdown. As much as I (read: husband) would like, I’m not lounging around my homes in sexy lingerie. Allbirds introduced Trino in their socks last year, and now, with a few tweaks, they transformed the material for underwear. In this new collection, you’ll find boxer briefs (yes, there’s something for dudes, too), thongs, briefs, shorties and bralettes all available in a variety of colors. Prices range from $16 for the thong to $30 for the scoop-neck bralette and sizes range from XS to XXXL for underwear and XS to XL for the bralette. One thing is for sure: my love for Allbirds just reached a new level of intimacy.
