Name: Kelsey Crane Gonzalez

Neighborhood: West Hollywood / Los Angeles

Occupation: Actor and Owner of Quench Staffing

Baby’s Gender: It’s a surprise!!!

How would you describe your pregnant style? My style is bohemian, and urban comfortable. I love to wear form-fitting dresses that hug my new figure. I am definitely embracing my bump and booty with tighter, stretcher clothing.

Have you had any challenges learning to dress your body during pregnancy? The pressure on the modern woman to do it all AND look good while doing it is insane. I’ve definitely focused on working inside out, focusing on staying mentally strong to embrace my new body. But feeling cute on the outside definitely helps me stay confident! For the most part, I wear non-maternity clothing just 1 to 2 sizes larger, but I do love wearing the maternity stylings of Isabella Oliver, Pink Blush, and Hatch.

So far, what has surprised you most during your pregnancy? I completely WOW’ed by the ability of our bodies to morph, grow, and support life. It’s absolutely magical. We make a NEW organ (the placenta), our other organs shift, our ribs expand, and we GROW A HUMAN. I have a new found respect bordering on reverence for the power of bodies.

What are you most looking forward to sharing with your baby? My goodness, everything. I am just so excited to meet our little person and nourish his or her personality. We can’t wait to see the world through our baby’s eyes and adventure together.
