Another royal wedding made the history books this morning, and to some it seems like Prince George and Princess Charlotte might make history for being such frequent members of wedding parties. Five-year-old Prince George and 3-year-old Princess Charlotte were among the pageboys and young bridesmaids to walk down the aisle at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle on Friday as Princess Eugenie married Jack Brooksbank. It was just last month when George and Charlotte were in the wedding party for their mother Kate Middleton’s good friend (and Princess Charlotte’s godmother) Sophie Carter, who married Robert Suggs. And of course before that they were famously adorable at the royal wedding, that of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and at their maternal aunt Pippa Middleton’s wedding to Pippa Middleton’s wedding to James Matthews last year. These two adorable pre-schoolers know their way around a wedding, and the pictures from Princess Eugenie’s big day prove it.
Unlike at the Queen’s big birthday bash, this time Prince George didn’t wait for his cousin Savannah to cover his mouth. He was proactive about stifling his own wedding day giggles.
Posing together with the rest of the pageboys and bridesmaids (as well as the bride’s sister and mother) Prince George and Princess Charlotte looked as adorable as possible.
And they behaved perfectly during the bride’s big moments.
Have you ever seen a sweeter bridesmaid?
Congratulations to Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank (and to Princess Charlotte and Prince George on another successful wedding).
